Due to insecurity and long wars, the state of the scientific and academic system of the country was severely damaged, its spiritual capital, scientific infrastructure and cultural richness were lost and it was left behind by rapid scientific and academic development. Fortunately, with the emergence of an inclusive and legal government and the provision of re-education in the country’s universities and the emergence of positive and obvious changes in the educational system of educational institutions and the hope of the young generation of the country for a better future to acquire science and knowledge According to the conditions of the time, they were referred to higher education institutions again, attracted and absorbed.At the beginning of the recruitment activities through government educational institutions, the statistics were low. It did not meet the needs of the country and society. Mr. Mashal Azizi and Mrs. Tahmina Nooristani, feeling and understanding the patriotic and administrative responsibility of serving the young people interested in science and culture, obtained the scientific activity license of the two faculties of economics, law and political science from the relevant authorities and established the Borna Higher Education Institute in the remote province of Badakhshan. Historical background of Borna Higher Education Institute
Borna Higher Education Institute was established in 2012 with the efforts and will of Mashal Azizi and Tahmina Nooristani. The activity license of Borna Higher Education Institute was obtained from the Ministry of Higher Education of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2012 with the establishment of the Faculty of Economics. Taking into account the demand of volunteers and the facilities of the institute, the Faculty of Law and Political Science was added to the framework of the activities of Borna Higher Education Institute in 2014.The Faculty of Economics is taught in Bachelor of Business Administration in both Persian and English in three departments in the seventh and eighth semesters (human resources, finance and marketing). The Faculty of Law and Political Science will be divided into two departments (Judiciary, Attorney General’s Office, Administration and Diplomacy) after the fourth semester. During its nine years of scientific activity, Borna Higher Education Institute was able to gain the full trust of the people and enthusiasts of science and culture, as a result of which the number of its students increased from 23 students in 1392 in the field of economics to 1583 in two fields. Education has increased.
